Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. On a dreary afternoon in the autumn of 2008 I saw the following article in the newspaper: ”Chinese police are serving red chili peppers to drivers”. It made me curious. Why was that? Supposedly red peppers make us alert and awake and in China they are presented to drivers who feel sleepy. Funny, isn’t it? The pepper in my logo is for awaking you. Your talents, your gifts, your ambition. Don’t get sleepy in your life. The world is waiting for you!
There are more adults afraid of the light, than children are of the dark. The little lamp in my logo stands for inspiration and motivation to go out in the world and shine your light on … yourself. But aren’t there a lot amongst us who are so afraid to stand up and shine? Wasn’t it Marianne Williamson who said: (free translation)
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the Universe. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
A logo. Most entrepeneurs have thought about the creation of it. A lot. I’d like to advise you to ask them about it. It will tell you their story. Or wouldn’t you like to know?
